After sending my sister about 50 emails with flight deals to Europe over the past year, she finally agreed to meet me between Switzerland and Washington, D.C.–Ireland. Neither of us have been to the Emerald Isle before and we’re husband-free, so we’re all set for some adventure. We’re planning on seeing Dublin, Galway and Limerick, but we’ll see how far we actually get in our rental car once we tackle the whole driving-on-the-other-side-of-the-road thing. (We’ll definitely need the luck of the Irish!) We’d like to see the Cliffs of Moher, buy a wool sweater, try Galway oysters and a proper pint.
