The depression link was such a great share thank you! I was talking to a friend this morning, after we heard about Anthony Bourdain, and she just did not grasp depression. Saying things like “but he has so much money! but he has a daughter!” and its really not about that. I’m looking forward to having her read this article that really grasps the illness and puts it in a different perspective. xo Meaghan
Thank you for the thoughtful comment Meaghan. After losing Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain this week, I think it’s safe to say that financial/creative/widespread success does not prevent depression. It is an illness! And like any other illness, it can affect anyone. It’s important to keep this conversation going, so we can hopefully prevent more deaths like these! xoxo
